BEST TIP FOR  MODERN SKI TECHNIQUEPlease bookmark this site for future reference, and ENJOY!
Keep it  simple! With  the  "new  shaped" skies  it is so easy to turn.
You no  longer  need  to   use  your whole  body!
Try  this; on  a gentle  slope  do  a straight  run down the hill. Gently  tip  both  skies to  the  right. ( Be  patient!)
Let both  skies  seek the  fall line, than  gently  tip both skies to  the  left.
You  will  see  how  easy it is  to  turn and  better  yet you  will not  get as  tired!

Please keep  checking  my site  for   more  ski tips  and  the  best  new  information in  Taos  real estate or  exciting  new  condos  in Taos Ski Valley and surrounding areas.

iT  IS  NEW  YEAR  AND  THE  SNOW  IS   FLYING AND  DEEP!
Powder taking  you under? Don't rush it!
relax be sure to  look where  you  are  going  and  relax.
look  and move toward  the new  turn,  tip  the  skies to drift and  float  into  the  fall line.  Gently direct  BOTH legs and  skis  in the  new  direction. stay centered and  have fun!

Be sure  to  check your  equipment fat  is  in for  those  powder days!

When  skiing  in the  bumps  be  sure  to  first look  where  you  want  to  go.  than  aim  your   new  inside   thigh  and   knee.  lead  the  release  with the same  leg and  foot.
remember  early  pole  plant.

Keep pressure on the cuff of  your boot! Remember the driving starts at the feet an ankles, not  the head!

AND  THOSE  POWDER DAYS!
look first  to  where  you  want  to  go. aim  with  your belly too!  keep  your  core  strength  (tummy strong)  release  your  skies to the  new  direction. wait  untill the  skies find  the   fall  line  and  turn out  by tipping  the  skies  until they  almost stop.

Spring is  here and so is the crud. It  can  be great fun! Keep a strong core, stay centered with pressure on the cuff of the boots. Be sure to  keep the new inside leg controled through the turn. Don't twist the upper body or you  be stuck for sure!

P.S.  have  a  great  day on the slopes!
